A replacement parchment if an original has been lost or destroyed.
This is for Graduates of the University of Sunderland only, who completed their award after 1992. You can only purchase a replacement certificate if your original has been lost or destroyed.
Under no circumstances will additional copies or replacements be issued to any applicant holding an original parchment. Replacements while having precisely the same standing as the originals which they replace, are produced in the format currently in use and may not be a facsimile copy of the original.
The applicant must provide either (a) the damaged or defaced parchment or (b) a completed declaration setting out fully the circumstances in which the parchment was lost or destroyed, including an undertaking that, should a replacement be issued, it will be returned if the original is subsequently found.
Payment by debit/creditcard.
Refunds will only be given if the order is cancelled before the certificate is produced. Please Note: If you have an outstanding debt to the University of Sunderland you may not be eligible to receive an offical certificate.
Replacement certificates are posted via first class mail (UK Only) or by standard airmail only. There is an optional additional payment of £15.00 for DHL, tracked delivery.
You should expect to receive a replacement certificate within 14 days (please allow extra time to an address outside the UK, or during our busiest periods of June, July Nov & Dec).
